The Celts already knew: Happiness is only real when shared. Thankfully there are some museums, castles, gorges or caves around Mittersill where people meet up and can share their enthusiasm for culture and exchange views. Thus most cultural sites not only feature objects to look at, but also encourage people to participate or enjoy the unique nature. Be it in the footsteps of the Celts, in the Middle Ages or the trading by pack animals, there was plenty going on in this region. This is also especially thanks to the wonderful blend of Alpine world, gushing waters and the diverse flora and fauna – culture and nature do are related after all.
