Whether you dare take a look at the infamous Streif downhill run or rather practice your turns on the blue and red pistes is your own decision entirely. And even if this unique and giant ski area is not enough for you. In the region around Kitzski - "our ski area" - you’ll find many more fantastic ski areas within a 30-minute drive. From Mittersill and Hollersbach you can take the Panorama Lift Kitzbühel Alps as well as the 6-seat chairlift Resterhöhe directly into the world‘s best ski area Kitzbühel - Kirchberg - Mittersill (Kitzski). Right at the entry point on our Salzburg side, with a view of the 3,000-metre peaks of Hohe Tauern National Park, you’ll find the official training centre of the Austrian and German ski federation on Resterkogel. Where in early winter the world’s slalom elite goes to practice, your skiing bliss begins. And if you have the time and are in the mood, it will lead you to the legendary Kitzbühel’s Streif and beyond!
