What does "smash" mean? The trendy youth word means something like good, casual, great. In Mittersill, people know the term from the restaurant in the cinema. "Smash n'Go" is the name of the restaurant that brought a breath of fresh air to the town's gastronomy in 2020. The brainchild and founder is Adam Vad - a likeable, committed young man who, together with his wife Timea and his restaurant concept, has really captured the taste of the Pinzgau locals. His secret recipe is the "Smash'ed" burger, in which a variety of roasted flavors are created by pressing the patty firmly (smashing) onto the grill surface.

Do they want to stay here in Mittersill? "We love this place! Although it's not always easy to balance running the cinema and the restaurant, we always find a solution. At some point, the time will come when we have to decide which direction we want to go in... ." Who knows, maybe there will soon be a new addition to burger heaven? One thing is for sure, Adam and Timea still have a lot of ideas and plans.
