Many may not realise it: Everyone has a need for finding joy in seemingly every day objects. Be it the breakfast cup from mum, the Sunday crockery when enjoying dinner together with the family, the hammer with which the proud father hung the first baby photo on the wall or the toy tractor with which the little one joyfully races around the corner every morning. The joy customers get with the products they have purchased, is what inspires the Huber family on a daily basis.
The passion for the business is in the genes and was inherited from their father/grandfather Hans Huber. He was the one who bought and took over the building in 1961, already known as a merchant house back then. “In the past it was kind of a “mini-hardware store” with horseshoes, nails, ironware – yes, people even bought coal by the sack at granddad's”, Florian Junior enthuses. In 1986, his father Florian together with his wife Maria took over the business and began expanding the product range.
