It is a sunny winter day at the beginning of February, Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Once again a nice occasion to give flowers. Although, does it even take one? “Not necessarily,” grins Isabel Hartl. „With flowers you can always and actually make everyone happy. “ Shortly before noon it is still busy in the flower shop on the town square. Here, not only flowers and greens adorn the sight – also accessories for placing and hanging, vases and – most recently – feathers in all possible colours attract attention.

When she was a child, Isabel knew she wanted to work with flowers. “My mom once said: The worst thing would have been if we hadn’t found an apprenticeship for you”, as delighted as Isabel was at that time by the messengers of the heart. In Mittersill with Blumen Germann she completed her apprenticeship as a florist, gathered her experience in Neukirchen and Zell am See and finally fulfilled her dream of becoming independent in 2007.

For them, flowers are something special: noble and at the same time so natural, attractive but also vulnerable, robust and sensitive at the same time. As colourful and diverse as life, in all its facets.
