A “Welcome” greets health-conscious relaxation seekers and lovers of tasteful accessories already when entering the shop on Mittersill high street.
On entering the stylishly designed showroom of Alpenrelax, a nice sense of well-being sets in. Add to this the pleasant fragrance of Swiss pine, evoking memories of that last walk in the forest.

Things are busy at the moment: Pillows, vases, lamps and decorative items have just arrived and are being lovingly arranged and presented in the proper (sun)light. “I’m in charge of sales. I love inspiring people and doing them something good at the same time.” Annemarie Wieser is a saleswoman out of passion. Her main focus is on premium products and exclusive sales – and that since 30 years. Together with her husband Rudolf she created the brand “Alpenrelax” some 15 years ago and steadily developed it. “We saw that the need for regeneration and healthy sleep was ever-growing”, Mr. Wieser reminisces the beginnings of having their own business. “In this respect, nothing has changed until today, quite the contrary: People want to get to know themselves, see what is good for them and create a beautiful home – that’s where we come in.” Together with with their customers they develop a sleeping concept adapted to every individual requirement. In doing so, premium, mostly local natural materials are processed using elaborate technologies and genuine craftsmanship “Regenerative sleep can effectively prevent many health problems”, the sleeping expert says. “The use of Swiss spine boosts the effect: Beds made of solid Swiss pine improve the quality and have a calming effect.“
