Family and career can be a difficult task - especially for women. But it is possible. "Organization is everything", Sieglinde Islitzer-Lerch, store manager at s.Oliver, reveals to us. Ambitious, responsible and focused, the woman form Hollersbach manages not only her family, but also 3 stores of the international fashion label.

Sieglinde has been working for Michael Harms' s.Oliver franchise company for over 16 years. Before that, the trained saleswoman was on the road for said brand in merchandise throughout Austria. Presenting the merchandise in a sales-promoting way - that was her main task and became her passion. In 2000 , she realized her wish of self-employment and took over a s.Oliver store in Saalfelden. Her heart's desire - to start a family - was fulfilled five years later by her daughter Ylvy. With the birth of her second girl Diana, the family is finally complete.

Sieglinde can agree with this . However, in her opinion, the stores should offer common opening hours also over lunchtime. "We are open over lunch however we hear this wish for general store opening again and again from our customers. From a personnel point of view, it would be easier to close over lunch - but the customers are very grateful to us." That one could perhaps also counteract online trade with that, she adds thoughtfully. The assortment that Mittersill offers is extensive, she says. Nevertheless, shopping from the couch has become indispensable in today's world. "I wish that people would shop more locally again. Supporting each other is important so that the job market is maintained and the village center does not die out. In addition, we should think of our envirnoment: we can buy milk, meats, eggs and much more from our neighbors.
