Valentina Tomsik & Matthias Meinl

A life in the mountains. Valentina and Matthias fulfilled this wish when they moved to Pinzgau in 2015. She comes from Vienna and originally worked in veterinary medicine, he is a trained businessman from Ulm. In addition to their daughter Mia, they both share a passion: a love for nature. Valentina Tomsik and Matthias Meinl have been running the National Park Garden Center in Stuhlfelden since March 2024. The two long-standing customers of the garden center learned of its planned sale by chance and decided to seize the opportunity. “I would have found it a great pity if this business had ceased to exist. So we decided to continue running it and put our own stamp on it.”

Mittersill promotes regional supply
Valentina and Matthias think it's great that Mittersill is taking the topic of “regionality” to heart. With the weekly market, the promotion of regional businesses and the focus on culture, people and crafts, they are supporting the local economy. This makes it possible to create enormous added value for the entire region and the people who live here.
